The world of music publishing is still relatively new to India and a number of copyright owners
and independent artistes have not been able to do much by way of getting their works published, particularly in
markets outside of India.
To set the ball rolling for them, Turnkey sub publishes catalogues for markets outside India for a number of
labels / publishers and also signs on singer / songwriters for publishing globally.
Some of the catalogues we represent are Rajshri Entertainment, Girona Entertainment, Sea Records, East Coast
Audio Entertainments, SVF Entertainment, Shemaroo Entertainment and others, which makes the repertoire
controlled by Turnkey a cross section of genres and languages, including Bollywood and Regional Film songs.
We also work with labels like The Indian Record Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and Sagarika Music on specific works.
Singer / songwriters signed to Turnkey include pop, rock and blues musicians, ghazal artistes, rap stars,
electronic, sufi and alternate pop musicians as well as Bollywood composers.
Turnkey also has Neighbouring Rights to the masters for all its Indian publishing and sub publishing
arrangements, making it a one stop shop for any licensing for sampling and synchronization licenses.
As of July 1, 2020 we also sub publish for India, some of the finest international catalogues.
We use the Music Maestro (also referred to as Counterpoint) publishing software, which is the most popular
globally and is compatible with the software of all collecting societies, publishers and administrators across
the world.

Before becoming a label in 2019, Upton Park had already been working behind the scenes
since 2003 as a music publisher for French singer-songwriters with a wide range of
personalities (rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, indie, etc.).
With no geographical or musical boundaries, the label is now making its mark on the cultural
landscape with strength (Matmatah, Stuck in the Sound, Nosfell), boldness (Bigger, La
Battue, Rose Tiger, Dead Chic) and sometimes even radicalism (NSDOS, Muet, TH/S /S
SH/T, Svinkels).
Thanks to its independent nature, the label takes a crucial interest in the artist's vision,
opening the way to eclectic, singular aesthetics with a certain high standard.
